So here's the thing about alcohol...
I am fully capable of not drinking but then that little angel jumps up onto my shoulder and questions my reasoning for passing up the booze. In the simplest of context, I am a seeker of experience and with the flavor choices and proof levels changing daily, there is no short supply of experiences to be had.
We ran out of wine and I was forced against my will to come up with something to hold momdukes and I over for the week.
Sigh. These random occurrences make me miss being a bartender.
Ohh how I dig a good spirits experiment....
Simply Lemonade w/ Raspberry + Wray & Nephew White Overproof Rum + Tropicana Ruby Red Grapefruit
It was the bomb dot com!! Will surely be sharing this little concoction with others...a few drops of lemon juice was added to the first few drinks and although it was a nice little touch, I liked it better without. The perfect drink to eat chocolate with....and so I did. Happy Mixing!!
Only downside, the damn pulp...it's one of those drinks that if you let sit for a long time, the pulp seems to multiply and thicken. The only kind of drink that thickness should be allowed within is a damn shake. Blah.
