So dig,
At about 12am the other morning, I couldn't sleep and was staring idly at the ceiling in the darkness of my room.  Out of nowhere, a flash of the blue opera singer from "The Fifth Element" popped into my head.  INSPIRED!!

I took the flash from my Holga 135 analog camera and connected it to my Nikon 3100 digital camera and took a walk.

Picture me with my fro in four large braids, rocking a pair of Spongebob boxers in a plaid housecoat, roaming the streets with a camera around my neck.  Luckily for me, I was the only nutcase out that night.

The Setup:

The Shots:

 The Summary:
The flash obviously produces some rather dope results, dependent upon the subject and it's vicinity to the flash.  The further away, a less saturated and more natural feel is produced whereas the closer I was, a more surreal feel was achieved.  Either is pretty spanktacular, and mama will surely be using this is the near future.
On a sidenote, the fact that I had to hold down the camera's flash so that the hotshoe flash would be implemented was not as big a pain in the ass, as one would think.  Long story short, for the good of the shot, it's always worth it.

Relish in randomness,
